Leveraging Anxiety with Product Design

This talk provides insights on how to design better products by addressing different interaction contexts and anxieties users face every day

Designing seamless user experience and beautiful interfaces is just not enough anymore. It is important to be aware that we are designing and developing solutions for our users who are living and breathing creatures. Users are facing different challenges, emotions, and anxieties every day while using our designs. Therefore, designing with greater empathy and awareness for the interaction context should be imperative in product design. This talk will explain what context means for the users and what kind of anxieties users face daily. It will cover how designing with empathy and accessibility in mind can lead to better products. Finally, we will cover which design methods and tools we should aim to use in order to leverage user anxiety.
